Some of the best films which got hold of the attention in South Indian Industry is Raja Rani starring Jai, Arya, Nazriya and Nayanthara directed by Atlee. Raja Rani developed a fantastic buzz in the cine Industry. One of the best Love Story ever in Tamil Cinema. Nayanthara got the Best Actress Award for the motion picture Raja Rani.
Director Bala's hardworking and touching story "Paradesi' was really a big hit. As normal Bala has given a historical motion picture. Bala got the Best Director award for this motion picture and Atharva murali got Best Actor award for this motion picture.
